REGISTERED MANAGER – ROCKFIELD

JOB SUMMARY
Rockfield House provides high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. We are looking for aRegistered Manager who is passionate, values-led and committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for the people we support.
As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the safe, effective and compliant delivery of the service, providing strong leadership to staff and ensuring the home consistently meets CQC regulations and best practice standards.
As a Registered Manager you will ensure:
- Overall operational management of the service, ensuring safety, quality and positive outcomes
- Registration with CQC and ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations
- Provide strong leadership, supervision and motivation to the staff team of approximately 60 staff
- Promote person-centred planning and co-production with individuals using the service
- Manage staff performance, attendance, disciplinary matters and development
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and care practice
- Lead recruitment, induction, supervision and appraisal of staff
- Manage budgets, staffing rotas and commissioned hours, reducing reliance on agency staff
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, commissioners and external agencies
- Take responsibility for occupancy, admissions and assessments
- Lead audits, governance processes and service improvement initiatives
- Participate in the on-call rota as required

About the Service
Rockfield House provides care or individuals aged over 18 years who have a primary diagnosis of a learning disability and may also have complex support needs. The home is community facing with daily access to local facilities and opportunities. Due to the nature of the needs of the people who live at Rockfield, most residents have a dedicated supporting staff member throughout the day.
We provide care and support to 14 individuals, across two homes. There is a 4 bed ‘Annexe’ which provides accommodation across three floors and 10 bed main house which is all ground floor level. The home is fully occupied.
The home has been rated as Requires Improvement with CQC in August 2025, improvements are well underway with action plan completed and awaiting further re-inspection. This vacancy provides a great opportunity to lead and contribute to the changes, building on a foundation of strong values and culture of care and compassion for our residents.
