About the role: Under supervision of Senior Management, the successfully appointed Senior Staff Nurse will provide a range of assistance with the key tasks that enable people to maintain an independent and ordinary lifestyle wherever possible.
The post holder will ensure a high standard of nursing input in the application of clinical procedures, including risk assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation, medication management, physical investigations and implementation of Person Centred Care.
As a senior staff nurse, you would liaise with the Home and Deputy Home Manager to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care, in line with national, local and Company policy, through supervision of junior staff and audit processes.
The successfully appointed senior staff nurse will also be required to undertake RCA, accident reports, CIW notifications, Safeguarding, Complaints, Investigations and incident review as required by the management team.
Skills: Able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information, demonstrate empathy and interest in staff and patients.
About the Service: Glyn Rhosyn is a male only residential nursing service for individuals living with a learning disability and complex needs who are looking to step down from acute services or step up from community based services.
