About the role

The role of a Support Worker is to care, support, and protect residents to enable them to lead a meaningful life. At MHC, we believe each resident is a human being with an equal right to life and good treatment as everybody else. Through the implementation of a person centred support plan, the Support Worker will strive to help people remain as independent as possible and to maximise their quality of life. They will work as part of a dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do.

Satellites

Situated in the market town of Denbigh, the Satellite homes consist of a cluster of homes, Brynffynnon, Glasfryn and Garth which provide community facing residential care for up to 7 adults who have a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder.

The three separate homes provide a home from home environment, compromising of two, three bedroom terraced house and one, one bedroom terraced house accommodating up to 7 individuals. The satellite homes provide a step down for patients or residents ready to move to a more independent living setting.

Based in the historic market town of Denbigh in North Wales, it has good community and transport links.
