Interim Activities Lead – Highfield Park, Llangwyfan, LL16 4LU

  • £23,483.20 – £24,419.20 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the role: The post holder will lead in the delivery and planning of the provision of a comprehensive and quality activity programme aimed at maximising independence and maintaining optimum levels of everyday skills.

Delivering & arranging activities for residents to provide a stimulating environment to meet their emotional, social, physical & intellectual needs.

Ensuring the individual needs of service users are met, providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and enhance their quality of life, whilst maintaining their independence and privacy.

As the Interim Activities Lead you will ensure the provision of a weekly timetable of activities and assist in developing opportunities for residents to progress in daily living skills. You will also encourage residents to participate in activities of their choice to enhance their quality of life.

The post is employed within Highfield Park and there is a requirement to work flexibly to meet service demands which will cover a 7 day per week, morning, afternoon and evening timetable of activities.

Highfield Park: Located in a picturesque part of North Wales, Highfield Park has 13 residential services for adults who have a learning disability, autism, challenging behaviour, mental health issues or complex behaviours. Each home is a specialist provision with its own dedicated staff team.

Highfield Park is located in the hamlet of Llangwyfan, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
