DEPUTY HOSPITAL MANAGER – NEWTON HOUSE

About the Role: We want to appoint a Deputy Hospital Manager who will support the Registered Manager at Newton House and the wider team. An absolute commitment to the care and rehabilitation of individuals with complex and enduring mental health conditions is essential.
The successful candidate will be joining an established clinical and nursing team. Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery, the successful candidate will have an ability to engage effectively with patients, staff and stakeholders. Ideally the successful candidate will be a qualified mental health nurse (RMN or RNLD) or they will hold another appropriate qualification.
It is essential applicants can demonstrate a strong background in operational management and subsequent commercial awareness. You will be expected to support the Registered Manager to lead and motivate the team, displaying the values expected. The role is key in supporting the development and progression of staff.

About the Service: Situated a mile from the seaside town of Blackpool, Newton House Independent Hospital provides locked rehabilitation, habilitation and treatment to up to 21 men living with complex and enduring mental health conditions.
