Requirements:First Aid, Health and Safety Certificates, QCF Level 2 Cleaning
Hours of Work:Part-time – 20 hours per week

About the role: MHC are seeking to recruit a reliable and responsible individual to undertakehousekeeping duties on a part time basis.
It will be the post holder’s responsibility to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and to keep records of cleaning products and equipment. In addition, the post holder will take responsibility for the maintenance of the equipment.
The successful applicant will be working alongside service users, therefore good interpersonal skills will be essential.You will need to be enthusiastic, ambitious and provide flexibility and adaptability.
Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Previous cleaning experience is necessary, being able to work on your own initiative, multitask and have a high degree of organisational skills will be beneficial.
Skills: Good knowledge of COSHH as well as environmental Health & Safety. Good communication skills to enable them to interact with the type of clients that we have. Excellent organisation and planning.
About the Service: Situated a mile from the seaside town of Blackpool, Newton House Independent Hospital provides locked rehabilitation, habitation and treatment to up to 21 men living with complex and enduring mental health conditions.
