INTERIM HOSPITAL MANAGER – NEWTON HOUSE
BLACKPOOL, FY3 8NU
Salary: £74,412 – £85,860 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week
Contract Type: Interim, 6-9 months to cover Maternity Leave
MHC Newton House are looking to appoint an experienced Interim Hospital Manager to join a well-established team. This would be to provide Maternity Leave cover from October 2023 for a period of 6-9 months. This is an exciting opportunity to support the MDT and wider colleagues with patient’s recovery.
About the role:
The Registered Manager will lead, manage and enhance the service and be accountable for operational delivery ensuring that the hospital provides high quality care which results in positive outcomes for patients, their families, all staff and the wider business. You will promote effective working within the multi-disciplinary team, regulatory authorities and commissioning agencies. You will ensure effective collaboration with all supporting MHC departments that underpin clinical and corporate governance. You will ensure the hospital is commercially viable based upon a thorough and detailed understanding of contemporary mental health requirements. You will assist the Director of Operations with commercial and service development in line with the strategic direction of the wider organisation.

Situated a mile from the seaside town of Blackpool, Newton House Independent Hospital provides locked rehabilitation, habitation, and treatment to up to 21 men living with complex and enduring mental health conditions.
