About the Role: We have various vacancies for you to join an existing friendly team, supporting individuals with a learning disability to lead a full and meaningful life. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, share your experiences and really make a difference to the lives of those we support.
The positions available are, Full Time (42 hours per week), Part Time (24 hours per week – 2x 12 hour shifts), Twilight (24 hours per week – 6 hour shifts, 6pm – midnight) and Bank.

It may be that you want a change, fresh start or just want to bring your skills to a new Service, where at the same time you can benefit from support and guidance from the management team. There will be an opportunity for you to access our bespoke training package.
The ideal candidate for this post will have experience in supporting people with learning disabilities (however this is not essential as training will be provided). Within this role you will need an understanding of, medication procedures, safeguarding policies and procedures, motivation skills, be self-motivated, flexible and organised.
Skills: Empathy, caring and good and effective communication skills. Self-motivated ability to cope in challenging situations and be able to work under pressure. Understand person centred approach and support individuals to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way.
About the Service: Glyn Rhosyn is a male only residential nursing service for individuals living with a learning disability and complex needs who are looking to step down from acute services or step up from community based services.
Glyn Rhosyn promotes independence and choice through Person Centred Planning, Active Support and Positive Behavioural strategies.
