About the role

The role of a Support Worker is to care, support, and protect residents to enable them to lead a meaningful life. At MHC, we believe each resident is a human being with an equal right to life and good treatment as everybody else. Through the implementation of a person centred support plan, the Support Worker will strive to help people remain as independent as possible and to maximise their quality of life. They will work as part of a dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do.

Highfield Park

Located in a picturesque part of North Wales, Highfield Park has 13 residential services for adults who have a learning disability, autism, challenging behaviour, mental health issues or complex behaviours. Each home is a specialist provision with its own dedicated staff team.

Highfield Park is home to MHC's central support services. and also home to several of our services.

Highfield Park is located in the hamlet of Llangwyfan, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The nearby village of Llandyrnog provides access to local amenities which include: local church, butchers shop, general store which includes a post office and three public houses, two of which have restaurant facilities.

The location offers the benefits of tranquillity as well as excellent opportunities for exercise and observing local wildlife. It is also within minutes of a main road through North Wales, putting the whole region within easy reach from the mountains of Snowdonia, to the North Wales coast and beyond.
