Salary:£11.29 – £11.74 per hour

Desirable/ Requirements:NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care or willing to work towards

Hours of Work:42 hours per week

About the Role: As a Team Leader you will take a key role in the delivery of services within the hospital ensuring the promotion of good working practice and offering a role model to support staff as well as supporting the nursing staff and the senior nurses in operationally managing daily shifts and staffing.

The successfully appointed Team Leader will be involved in monitoring and reviewing care plans in conjunction with the Deputy Manager, Care Managers/Social Workers, service users and their relatives.You will be take part in the co-ordination of the rotas for Support Workers and ensure continuity of care.Implement the Company’s procedural requirements including Disciplinary, Health and Safety, Financial and Quality Assurance systems.

The ideal candidate for this post will have experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex behaviours. Within this role you will need an understanding of, medication procedures, safeguarding policies and procedures, motivation skills, be self-motivated, flexible and organised.

Skills: Good problem solving skills, time management – ability to multitask, high degree of organisational skills, excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

About the Service: St David’s independent hospital stands by the banks of the River Dee and within walking distance of the small village of Carrog – A picturesque part of North Wales.

The service provides open rehabilitation and treatment for males (aged 18 years +) diagnosed with a learning disability and/or additional complex needs including autism and mental health needs.
