As your new CEO, I want to be clear that my role exists to support the work that is being done in all of our services. MHC is here to provide excellent outcomes to our patients and residents, and I will support all of you in achieving this.
In our company, and in the rest of the country, we have been dealing with the impact of Covid-19. For all of us, this means we have to take all the precautions possible to keep ourselves well and to keep the virus out of our services. I know that everyone is doing this and I want to encourage you to keep doing this through what is likely to be a difficult winter.
Our work can be difficult but it is important. Through your dedication and skill, we are providing an essential service to the people we look after, and to society as a whole.
