A resident who has resided at Glyn Rhosyn for 18 months has successfully transitioned to a step down service within MHC recently. His care team at Glyn Rhosyn provided structure, routine and care plans to support him in developing therapeutic relationships and increased inclusion into the community. During his stay at Glyn Rhosyn, he achieved many positive outcomes which included:- a volunteer job with doggy day care, he has attended skill group for DBT, and developed skills to support his progression. He has recently been accepted into college to complete an animal care course and he has built therapeutic relationships which have been appropriate and meaningful, and have reduced his self-harming behaviours.
