About the Role: The key purpose of the role of Night Support Worker is to ensure the safety of the Home and it’s patients in the absence of other staff, offering appropriate care and support to individuals in accordance with person specific care plans and risk assessments.
The successfully appointed Night Support Worker will be required to be aware of current issues relating to patients health and wellbeing by means of a handover from outgoing staff and by reading daily records. It will also be necessary for them to complete, as required, night log summary sheets and any other documentation, including diaries etc.
A Night Support Worker will be able to interact with patients, encouraging a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

About the Service: St David’s Independent Hospital stands by the banks of the River Dee and within walking distance of the small village of Carrog – A picturesque part of North Wales. The service provides open rehabilitation and treatment for males (aged 18 years +) diagnosed with a learning disability and/ or additional complex needs including autism and mental health needs.
Skills: Strong communicator, creative, motivated, ability to cope in challenging situations, understand and support individuals to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way.
Salary: £10.07 – £10.74 plus 20p per hour night allowance
Requirements: QCF Level 2 Health & Social Care OR willing to work towards
Hours of Work: 42 per week, working on a rolling rota basis
Contract Type: Permanent
